Blueberry ‘Duke’ (one-gallon)

Blueberry ‘Duke’ (one-gallon)

Vaccinium corymbosum

$12.99

An early ripening variety of highbush blueberry that grows to 4 to 6 ” tall. Duke provides heavy, consistent yields of firm blueberries. Produce white flowers in May and berries that ripen in June, under full to part sun. Small oval dark green leaves turn attractive shades of yellow and orange in the fall, making it a good pick as an ornamental shrub or hedging.

Blueberries thrive in acidic soils of around pH 4.5-5.5. In order to create the best environment to start your plants, it’s recommended that you dig a hole roughly 3 times the size of it’s container and fill with peat moss before planting.
